About ULEMCo

Amanda has more than 20 years’ experience in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, including founding a pioneering fuel cell business and delivering consultancy projects across the sector. She specialises in scaling and commercialising clean tech businesses and is Chair of the Hydrogen Energy Association. Amanda has held senior roles across the hydrogen and energy sectors, and is at the forefront of advancing the hydrogen economy, acting as a leading advocate for its role in decarbonisation, particularly in transport.

Bob joined ULEMCo in 2020, following an accomplished career in the automotive sector, including 15 years as Executive Director for engineering and product development at Jaguar Land Rover. An award-winning engineer and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, he brings extensive industry networks and leadership expertise, and has a strong track record of guiding innovative businesses to market success. In 2015, Debrett’s recognised him among the UK’s Top 500 most influential people and in the Top 15 for industrial and technology development.

Paul is one of the UK’s leading engineers in hydrogen solutions for transport, with unrivalled expertise in hydrogen dual-fuel technology. A co-inventor on ULEMCo’s two core patents, he played a pivotal role in the company’s early development and returned as Technical Director to drive its next stage of growth. Paul now leads R&D across the company including delivery of the fuel cell range extension product and 100% hydrogen combustion solutions, supporting ULEMCo’s ambition to scale and broaden routes for creating demand and use of hydrogen clean fuel.

Andy is an internationally recognised leader in the automotive sector, with extensive experience across distribution, retail, and manufacturing. He has held senior manager and board level roles at Jaguar Land Rover, Porsche, and Toyota, and is currently Non-Executive Chairman at AIM Listed Vertu Motors. Andrew brings board-level expertise and strategic insight to ULEMCo, supporting the company’s mission to accelerate hydrogen solutions for transport and the transition to net zero.

Paul joined ULEMCo as CFO in late 2024 as the company completed its latest successful funding round. As a member of the executive team, Paul is now responsible for the day-to-day financial management of ULEMCo and maintaining the business’s financial strategy. Paul is a Chartered Accountant and holds an accountancy degree from the University of Glasgow (B’Acc) and a professional qualification (ICAS) gained whist employed as an auditor with Grant Thornton UK LLP.

Since 2016, Paul has supported several companies with financial planning, fund-raising, and CFO appointments.
