Hydrogen technologies were very much at the forefront at CENEX 2024. This major show at UTAC Millbrook provided many insights into the world of hydrogen fuel and its potential for clean mobility.
The Hydrogen Technology Showcase featured companies including Toyota, Cranfield University, Innovate UK, Johnson Matthey, and of course, ULEMCo was there with a range of equipment and a team of engineers on hand to answer questions and to discuss opportunities.
On show was a Sprinter van utilising ULEMCo’s H2ICED® dual fuel technology and acting as a demonstrator of flexibility of the technology approach which is better known for large vehicle applications such as HGV and utility vehicles. The Medium Aircraft Tow Tug was also on show, upcycled from its original diesel system to zero-emission, using the HyICE™ 100% hydrogen combustion hybrid powertrain.
Amanda Lyne and Chris Games gave presentations in well attended sessions, and generated lots of debate among the knowledgeable attendees.
