We’re delighted to ‘welcome back’ Paul Turner to ULEMCo as Technical Director to support the next steps of our growth.
After contributing his unrivalled knowledge and capability in hydrogen dual fuel at our genesis and early-stage development – he was one of the inventors on our two granted patents – he will now look to use it to complement our move to broaden applications and build our technical capability. Currently very much in scale up mode, we plan to move up the supply chain in terms of technology to support wider deployment of hydrogen clean fuel.
Paul’s experience and skills will help us take forward our R&D activity in fuel cell range extension and 100% hydrogen combustion technology, both of which we plan to productionise in the next couple of years.
Look out for our announcements in the coming months, as we deliver prototypes with our grant supported projects HyPower (aiming to show the world’s first fuel cell range-extended fire engine and other specialist utility vehicles), and ZEHYDA2 (repowering ground support equipment for the RAF and Teesside International Airport).
Paul has arguably the UK’s greatest experience in engineering hydrogen solutions for transport applications.
