Airports and ports face the dual challenge of reducing emissions while keeping critical specialist vehicles and equipment running reliably, often around the clock. Replacing fleets entirely is costly and disruptive, especially given the bespoke nature of much of this equipment.

ULEMCo offers hydrogen solutions that convert existing vehicles and equipment to low or zero-emission operation, preserving performance and operational capability.
Our work includes the world-first hydrogen-powered conversion of an RAF Medium Aircraft Tow Tug (MATT), combining robust combustion technology with advanced ultra-low emission design.
HyICE™ hydrogen combustion technology enables operators to retain valuable vehicle components – such as hydraulics, brakes and chassis – reducing costs, avoiding waste and cutting embedded carbon.
Our approach simplifies the transition to net zero by applying proven engine designs, reducing complexity, minimising NOx emissions and enabling operators to continue using familiar skills and infrastructure.
