Auxiliary Tank Pack
Port-a-Bull™ is ULEMCo’s compact, mobile auxiliary hydrogen tank system designed to provide a flexible, reliable back-up fuel supply wherever and whenever it’s needed.
Containing 300 litres of hydrogen and capable of dispensing approximately 7kg of fuel, Port-a-Bull™ offers a practical, instantly deployable solution for hydrogen vehicle trials, non-road mobile machinery (NRMM), or operations in areas with limited refuelling infrastructure.
How does the technology work and what system is included?
The Port-a-Bull™ system integrates all necessary components within a high-pressure certified unit, compliant with UK EC79 standards. The compact tank pack includes:
- A fully integrated frame and mounting system, designed to fit within a standard 3.5-tonne panel van or transport vehicle
- Industry-standard WEH receptacles for safe, straightforward filling and dispensing
- A balance filling system, using natural pressure equalisation to transfer fuel, removing the need for an external compressor or power source
This makes Port-a-Bull™ highly portable, simple to operate, and ideal for hard-to-reach or remote environments.
