Local MP Visits ULEMCo

Bill Esterson, MP for Sefton Central, paid us a visit today, and saw a number of vehicles being converted to run on hydrogen.

We were delighted to show him an ambulance, an aircraft tow tug, a refuse collection vehicle and a couple of road sweepers in various stages of conversion. He was particularly impressed that standard utility vehicles could be made to run on the clean fuel, now, and in the future, avoiding the need for wholesale scrappage of existing fleets to reduce carbon emissions.

Bill is Shadow Minister for Business and Industry, and he was accompanied on the visit by Matt Danks, Senior Public Affairs Manager for the HS2 rail project, for which ULEMCo is producing several hydrogen powered vehicles.
